Power measuring freezer use with the Kill-A-Watt Meter

I wanted to know how much electricity my Frigidaire refrigerator (model: FFU14F5HWE) would use. So I closed my meter Kill-A-Watt, and run the freezer for a couple of days. While the compressor is running, it consumes about 1.7 amps and 115 watts of power, 120 VAC. Most of the time, the compressor is not operating, it is difficult to estimate the energy consumption without the use of a meter. After 160 hours, the freezer $ 1.26 of electricity used at a price of $ 0.161/kWh, which is 7.84kWh. AfterKill-A-Watt meter costs $ 68, the freezer to run for the year, $ 5.56 per month, or $ 0.18 per day. Also, if you open the door with the interior light bulb 25 watts of power. I mistakenly thought the freezer a lot of energy, but $ 5 does not seem to consume so much a month would be a burden. Of course, we opened the freezer, which is often, and we probably will not open at all in this measure of performance. The cost could be different if the freezer was full of food, and we opened the door more often. Otherwise it is a very energy efficient and it works great. Canon VIXIA HF11 shot on an HD camcorder.

Mess-Freezer Power Usage with Kill-A-Watt Meter

I wanted to know how much electricity my freezer Frigidaire (model: FFU14F5HWE would use). So I set my Kill-A-Watt meter, and run the freezer for a couple of days. While the compressor is running, it consumes about 1.7 amps and 115 watts at 120VAC. Most of the time, the compressor is not operating, it is difficult to estimate the energy consumption without the use of a meter. After 160 hours, the freezer to use electricity from $ 1.26 to a price of $ 0.161/kWh which is equivalent 7.84kWh. AfterPostage meters Kill-A-Watt $ 68 a freezer to make it work for the year, $ 5.56 per month, or $ 0.18 per day. Also, if you open the door, the light bulb uses 25 watt. I mistakenly thought this would consume much electricity the freezer, but $ 5 a month does not seem to be much of a burden. Sure, we opened the freezer, which often are open and we are never likely that during this measurement of power consumption. The cost could be fuller than when the freezer is for food,or, we opened the door more often. If not, is a very energy efficient and great. Shot in a Canon VIXIA HF11 HD Camcorder.
